Baggu Bags: Bringing back the Backpack

May 8th, 2010 | Purse Spotlight

I have pretty much always been rooted in the backpacks should not be purses camp. I feel that backpacks are for school books and traveling through Europe but do not make stylish handbags.

Even backpacks from big names like Louis Vuitton and Prada have not changed my mind. But then I saw this on Camp Comfort.Baggu Bag

I instantly loved this Baggu Backpack! I am not sure why I am suddenly willing to throw my no backpack rules out the window but I am! The Baggu Backpack is made of recycled cotton canvas and comes in 9 bright and beautiful colors. The best part is that it is only $28.

I see a Baggu Backpack in my future. How about you?

Double strapping is always in style in my world.

Hrm, I’m not sold on the backpack. I’m afraid it might cause flashbacks to school when I carried approximately 37.5 tons of books and had no choice but to use a backpack. It’s cute, but I think I’m going to remain in the backpacks-are-not-purses camp.

I actually really like this bag. Of course I am a proud owner of a backpack bag, but I only carry it when I’m feeling a bit lazy. Two shoulders are better than one when you’re lugging around a wallet, phone, book, sunglasses, make-up, and maybe even a water bottle. I’m tempted to make this purchase. Especially at that price. This website is actually really cool. Thanks, Purse Pixie, for guiding me on how to spend my recreation dollars.
