Purse Giveaway: Alicia Klein Lindsay Bag

This month’s giveaway is sponsored by the wonderful people at Alicia Klein. Designer Alicia Klein, who is well-known for her Taxi Wallets, also makes beautiful handbags and is offering an Alicia Klein Lindsay Bag to one lucky Purse Pixie reader!

The Lindsay Bag is everything you’d want in a handbag. It’s big enough to hold what you need but not so big that it weighs you down. It has a short chain strap and a longer leather strap so you can use it as a shoulder bag or cross-body bag and it’s made of soft pebbled leather in a rich plum that will add an eye-catching pop of color to any outfit. The Lindsay measures 10″W x 7″H x 1.5″D, comes with a protective bag and retails for $150.

    I usually wear my purse as a crossbody bag as I can do shopping and errands easily and I don’t have to worry about losing my purse.  I would wear it as a cross body bag unless I was going out then I would wear it as a shoulder bag.

    I would wear it actually both ways, depending on my outfit and where I am going. Usually I wear bags as a crossbody so its more secure to my body when I’m running errands, but I would wear it as a shoulder bag for a more professional look and setting. Love the bag and the color!

    I’d wear it mostly as a shoulder bag, because I am so tiny, having a purse hanging down makes me look shorter (don’t know why, but it does).  Also, it is easier to show it off that way!

    Since this purse is versatile I would most likely do both depending on where I was going. If shopping cross-body(more secure). If out to lunch or on a date over the shoulder( I wouldn’t want to be pulling something over my head).

    I would wear it as both! The chain detail would be nice to show off, and the long leather strap would be perfect for my trips on the metro to DC! (Purple is my fav. color!)

    Ooo..This is a toughy.  I know I’d love it both as a shoulder and a cross-body but lately I’ve been really into cross-body bags because of their comfiness and convenience.  I love that I can just swing it over my shoulder and totally forget about it and the Alicia Klein Lindsey Bag would be aweeesome for this!

    Shoulder bag for sure. It is the perfect size and wouldn’t feel too heavy on your shoulder. The color is fabulous and would give mu usual dark winter wardrobe a pop of color and my summer wardrobe an extra splash!

    I would carry it as a shoulder bag definately! Only because straps going across tend 2 make my clothes hug my chest tighter. And my chest doesn’t need any attention w/ my students running around!

    Definitely as a shoulder bag.  The bag is beautiful and will look more sophisticated that way.  I think cross body bags are more appropriate for casual wear, college kids, or soccer moms.

    I wear it both ways.  I am disabled, so sometimes i have to have a purse that goes over the whole area, but like it just over the shoulder, nice and small for when I go places that I need to dress up.

    Much to my teenage daughters’ dismay, I’ve been carrying cross-body bags for years now. They love my purses now – so glad cross-body is en vogue! If I win, I might even carry the Lindsey Bag on my shoulder occasionally to change it up a bit!

    The timeless look of this beautiful bag along with the chain embellishment on the strap seems to call for being worn on the shoulder as opposed to across the body.
