I went to the mall yesterday to return some things. Just returns-I had no intention of buying anything but I ended up in the purse department in Dillard’s.

I really should know better. I should know that I rarely come out of there without buying something and yesterday was no exception. They are having some amazing sales right now-things marked down 40-65%. So I walked around and found a few that I liked. Then I sat down on the floor of Dillard’ s to check them out.

I pulled out all the tissue, took off any plastic, unzipped all zippers and examined the pockets. I got a few odd stares from other shoppers wondering what the girl on the floor was looking for, but it was worth it. In the end I settled on this one: The SAK Iris Convertible Shopper in Curry.

Here are some things I like:

• It’s yellow enough to not be brown (because I have A LOT of brown) but it’s brown enough to still be neutral.
• It comes with a shoulder strap and actually looks okay when you use the shoulder strap.
• The inside is large enough to hold all my stuff.
• It has a zipper pocket as well as two other pockets for cell phone, keys or whatever.
• The Sak Iris Shopper is versatile and I think will last me a while so at $62, I am very happy with my purchase.
