Jitseu is a Japanese phrase meaning “the art of” and Jitseu Accessories is all about making beautiful, artful handbags that are also versatile and functional. They believe that accessories are what allow you to express your individual style, so many of their handbags can be worn in more than one way, allowing you to create an individual style that is customized for you everyday.

The Misaki Bag is just one example of Jitseu’s innovation and artistry. The Misaki has an asymmetrical flap with top zip closure and a magnet closure underneath the flap. It also has an interior zip pocket and two small interior open pockets. It is 100% calfskin leather and is a teal color with a brown detachable tassel. It measures 10″ x 7.5″ x 2.5″ and the shoulder strap drop 18″.

The Misaki normally retails for $229 but Jitseu has generously offered to give a teal Misaki Bag to one lucky Purse Pixie reader!

I have a family reunion coming right up that I will be attending. Plus, my 24th wedding anniversary is coming right up as well this month so we will be doing something, I’m just not quite sure yet what. We always wait till the last minute to decide what to do. I don’t like making plans too much because I find when I do, they usually fall through and I don’t like to be let down so we usually take it day by day. The fairs are coming though so I’m sure we’ll be hitting those as well.

I love this color so much, My last few weeks of summer are going to be spent with my family. My oldest daughter is sick so we will be going soon to get a 2nd opinion. Then we are going camping and doing some fall shopping (back to school). Enjoying the last few weeks before heading back to work at the Local College. I was off for the summer doing cleaning, gardening and small road trips with my husband (14 yr Anniversary on August 7th). I enjoyed every minute I had with the grandchildren. Now it’s back to work.

My mom and I have created a spectacular garden outside. We started a grape vine and it looks amazing. The fruit hasn’t grown on it yet but the vine has grown really long.
