Technorati is a blog directory that we are trying to join. This post is just us jumping through hoops to help them out.
If you like blogs in general, Technorati is a great place to check out. All registered blogs are arranged by category so you can find purse blogs, blogs about fashion, politics, organic gardening, you name it. There are blogs on every topic and Technorati tries to make it easy to find the information you want. These are a few blogs that I am excited to follow—
Lifehacker: Tips and downloads for getting things done
Pop Eater: Entertainment news and celebrity gossip
The Budget Babe: Fab without a fortune
TJ Maxx is a dangerous place for me, especially as my local TJ Maxx has an “expanded accessories department.” You can find all kinds of good purses there. I have seen Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, Lucky Brand, Via Spiga, Kenneth Cole, Hobo, Latico–some of my best handbag purchases have been made at old TJ’s. I browse through the color coordinated handbag aisles and sometimes I find nothing but other times I find 3 or 4 bags I don’t think I can live without.
Luckily, I have come up with a strategy to decide which ones I really can’t live without. After years of research, I have decided that the best plan of action is to start in purses and if I find something I really like and think I want, I carry it on my arm while I browse through the rest of the store. I see clothes, lamps and strange glass figurines and when I am through it all, if the purse is still comfortably on my arm and I still want it I head to the registers. I have been known to leave the purse section carrying three different purses and to have decided against all of them by the time I am ready to leave. I always feel like I have great willpower when that happens. Other times my willpower is not so great–but at least I end up with a great bag!
This is my latest TJMaxx find. I really like it but I am thinking about returning it (another great thing about TJMaxx) because I’m just not sure. It’s very silver.
