I recently fell in love with a bag from Anthropologie-the Alfresco Bag. It is a great neutral color, soft leather, adjustable from a tote into a smaller purse and comes with a snazzy printed scarf to liven it up.

I was entranced by the website description of it being the perfect bag for a trip to the market to buy a baguette for a picnic. It also had a five star rating on Anthroplogie’s website based on 16 reviews. I couldn’t go wrong, right?

I ordered it and waited with glee for it to arrive. Finally, it came and although the leather is beautiful and the bag is chic, I immediately noticed one fatal flaw. (more…)
